TheCopSwap.com was created for Law Enforcement Officers to buy, sell and trade new or used police equipment items. Over the course of a Law Enforcement Officer’s career, one can accumulate police equipment that is no longer needed when they transfer divisions, lateral to another agency or even just upgrade to newer equipment.
Police gear can be very expensive and to have new/fairly new items that are no longer needed taking up space collecting dust can be frustrating. Many items cannot be bought, sold or traded on other websites because they are Restricted or Prohibited by those sites. While we appreciate the fact that they are trying to prohibit these items from falling into the wrong hands WE have a legitimate need and use for them.
